Frequent entertainment including special food nights, skittles alley, a computer club, a large wide screen cinema, and lots more are available for your enjoyment. We’re not just a pub, we’re a community centre.
We are proud that our Real Ales are accredited by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) for quality and service. We have a good range of Real Ales and Beers and we regularly present alternative choices for those who like to sample something different. A well managed cellar means fresh, quality ales.
The Peterborough Arms frequently host wine tasting's and from the results, we select wines for sale in the Bar and Restaurant. We have an excellent range of very good wines and we know they’re good, you chose them. We sell all of our wines by the glass in three sizes, 125 ml, 175 ml and 250 ml, a glass of wine to suit everyone and of course, we sell them by the bottle.
The Peterborough has several skittle teams that play in local leagues and cup matches. Our skittle alley is available (by prior arrangement) for hire or is available FREE of charge when purchasing a buffet for the players (subject to availability, terms and conditions). We are happy to discuss being your home venue for league matches and we frequently host other matches for the Round Table , WI and other organisations.
The Peterborough’s owner chefs, have combined 60 years experience preparing and cooking superb food and offer a well balanced, Anglo-Continental menu of homemade fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. In addition, our daily Specials Board offers more choices for frequent diners with at least two additional starters and three main courses on offer.
We have spacious, well appointed rooms, all have en suite, TV and DVD as well as Coffee & Tea making facilities. A freshly cooked full English breakfast is included in the room price. Rooms are available throughout the year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We are a favourite with families, couples and business people alike - have a look at our Reviews or Book.

We offer superb Roast Lunches every Sunday. Usually two meats are available
as well as our full al-a-carte menu. Booking is recommended but not essential.
FREE Cinema Café Nights
A feature film is shown every third Sunday in the month, starting at 7:00pm. Food is served from 5:30pm. Booking is advisable.
Our dedicated Cinema has a 2.5 metre wide, HD, projected picture and Dolby® 7.1 Surround-Sound®.
